Who we are

Bobbecom is a Shopify design and ecommerce marketing agency led by Hammed Jamiu. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Bobbecom. "You" means anyone who visits this website or works with us.

What information we collect

• Information you give us. When you use our contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you share: usually your name, email address, store URL, the service you're interested in and your message.
• Project information. When we work on your store, you may give us access to your Shopify admin, ad accounts, email platform or analytics. We only use this access to do the work you hired us for.
• Basic website data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record technical information such as your browser type and pages visited. We don't use this to identify you personally.

Payment information

All projects are booked and paid through Upwork. We never ask for, receive or store your card or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Upwork under Upwork's own policies.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote or recommendation
• To plan, deliver and report on the work you hire us for
• To send project updates and, if you agree, occasional tips or offers (you can opt out at any time)

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Who we share it with

We only share information when it's needed to do our job, for example with:

• Upwork, for contracts, messages and payments
• Our team members working on your project, who are expected to keep it confidential
• Service providers we use to run our business, such as our email provider and our website host (Netlify), which receives contact-form messages and forwards them to our inbox

Your store and customer data

When we work inside your Shopify store, ad accounts or email platform, we may see your customers' data. We treat it as confidential, use it only to deliver the agreed work and don't copy it for any other purpose. When the project ends, you can remove our access at any time, and we recommend you do.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services we link to, such as Upwork, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, have their own cookie and privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries and project records only as long as we need them to provide our services, keep proper business records or meet legal obligations. After that, we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email us and we'll respond as quickly as we can. Depending on where you live (for example the UK, EU or certain US states), you may have extra rights under local data protection laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
