Terms of Service

The simple rules for using our website and working with us. If anything is unclear, just ask.

About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Bobbecom ("we", "us") for Shopify design, development or marketing services. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them.

Hiring us through Upwork

All projects are agreed, contracted and paid through Upwork. The scope, price, milestones and deadlines for your project are set in your Upwork contract. Upwork's own Terms of Service also apply, including its rules on payments, refunds and disputes. If anything in these terms conflicts with your Upwork contract or Upwork's terms, the Upwork contract and terms take priority.

Prices

Prices shown on this website are a guide. Your final price is the one agreed in your Upwork contract. Monthly marketing plans are billed through Upwork for as long as the contract stays active.

Ad spend and third-party costs

Our fees cover our work only. Advertising budgets (Meta, Google, TikTok and others), Shopify subscriptions, paid themes, apps, domains and other tools are paid by you, directly to those providers, and stay in your name.

What we need from you

  • Clear information about your business, products and goals
  • Access to the accounts we need (Shopify, ad accounts, email platform, analytics)
  • Timely feedback and approvals, so we can keep to the agreed timeline
  • Confirmation that you own or have permission to use the content, images and logos you send us

Revisions and changes

Each project includes the revisions agreed in your Upwork contract. New features or work outside the original scope can be added as a new milestone or contract.

Results

We work hard to grow your store and follow a tested process, but no one can guarantee sales, revenue or a specific return on ad spend. Results depend on many things outside our control, including your product, pricing, budget, competition and the platforms themselves. Sales screenshots on our website show past results for specific clients and are not a promise of future results.

Ownership of the work

Once a project or milestone is fully paid, you own the final designs, store setup, ad creative and written content we made for you. We may keep using our own general methods, templates and know-how. Third-party themes, apps, fonts and stock images remain subject to their own licences.

Showing your store in our portfolio

We may show your store, designs or results in our portfolio and on social media. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll respect that. We only share sales figures with your permission.

Confidentiality

We keep your account logins, customer data and business information private, and use them only to do the work you hired us for.

Post-launch support

Store builds include the post-launch support period stated in your package or contract. After that, ongoing help is available through a monthly plan or a new contract.

Ending a project

Either side can end a contract through Upwork. Work completed and approved up to that point is paid as set out in the Upwork contract and Upwork's rules.

Limitation of liability

We're not responsible for losses caused by third-party platforms (such as Shopify, Meta, Google, TikTok or app providers), including outages, policy changes, account restrictions or ad account bans. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.

Using this website

The content on this website, including text, design and blog articles, belongs to Bobbecom unless stated otherwise. Store screenshots and brand names belong to their owners. Please don't copy our content without permission.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. Changes don't affect contracts already agreed on Upwork.
